Senior Telecom/Hardware Engineer
ASIC Board-level Digital Telecom Engineers with circuit design experience to work with mixed signal products. Must have CSU or NIU experience using DS1, DS3 or SONET (STS-1 through OC-12) background along with: Ethernet ATM and Frame Relay EPLDs, FPGAs or ASICs Or other off-the-shelf devices Must have demonstrated ability to do board level design from concept through to production and be able to work independently. Desired electronic design tool knowledge includes: View logic schematic capture and simulation VHDL Synopsys Xilinix XACT ABEL Must have excellent verbal and written skills and hold a BSEE or MSEE Sr. Project Engineers Network Management for ATM SONET ring on UNIX/C++ desired with a BSEE/BSCS and 5 - 10 years experience in at least 3 of the following: Extensive C++ experience on UNIX Platform Experience in development of Telecom network manager SNMP or CMIP agent/manager development experience ATM/SONET Network Management GUIs Clearcase software configuration management tool CDMA/TDMA DQA Test Engineers Responsible for developing flat plans including cases for functionality, integrity and stress testing; test matrixes; defining test methodologies and test strategic. Create test platforms including evaluation of test equipment and design test networks. Responsible for development of automating test suites for product regression and stress testing. BSEE or BSCE degree required. MSCE a plus. The candidate should have 3+ years of Wireless/Cellular CDMA/IP, SNMT, Frame Relay and other WAN protocol is highly desirable. Familiarity with UNIX and Windows NT highly desirable.

Embedded Hardware Engineers
10+ years proven track record in development of rack-based embedded systems required. Must have 4+ years of digital logic design for microprocessor based cards, 2+ years with EPDL, Altera, Xylinix, PAL, memory and peripheral design experience. A background in high-performance systems a must. System Test Engineers Develop test planes and platforms, evaluate test equipment, and automate test suites for communication server and routing products. BSEE/CE and knowledge of TCP/IP, SLIP, PPP, IPX, RIP, AppleTalk protocols, UNIX scripting, and LAN analyzers required. 2-3 years hands on experience with Ethernet and network protocol a must. WAN and modem experience a plus.

These positions are responsible for providing design assistance and technical support to customers who are actively implementing systems using in-house components and software, performing product demonstrations, training field engineers, and writing technical application notes. You will need a BSEE/BSCS or equivalent and 5+ years experience along with good hardware and software design skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ATM experience is a plus. Manager, SONET Applications Software Development You will manage a group of 8 to 10 people which is responsible for developing Real-Time intensive software for SONET applications including performance monitoring, test access, root cause analysis, and protocol analysis. Requirements for this position include: 8+ years experience (2+ in related management) Strong Software development skill set C/C++ Real-Time Systems Object oriented development Telecommunications background (Bellcore GR-253 compliant preferred) Manager, SONET Platform Software Development You will manage a group of 10 to 12 people responsible for developing object oriented software for a state-of-the-art SONET network element. The work will focus on the development of a high performance multiprocessor platform, to support GR-253 compliant SONET specific application, using custom high performance hardware.
