Positions: (1) Sr. Principle Staff Scientist
(2) Staff Scientist
1. Sr. Principle Staff Scientist: This person will be a visionary for the communication
development team reporting to the Sr. Mgr. of Software Engineering so there is a slant toward SW.
Must have extensive experience providing technical leadership, project planning, supervising development and proposals. Exposure to government or aerospace applications is desired.
Responsibilities:
To expand the expertise in SW architecture, to support advanced development of new systems. This person will be an internal consultant, a Guru, leading a team of engineers in new product development, first level proposals and front-end research. Must have 10 + years of direct experience with
Comm. Systems and software architecture design, HW/SW trade offs, real-time embedded SW development of large SW systems (250k of code) with multiple sub systems, open system architectures like OOD and Compact PC and experience within a structured development environment is desired. You will find this person holding a title of SW System Eng., Sys. Comm. Eng., Comm. Architect, Project or Program Mgr. of some comm. Application.
Technologies: Neural networks, realtime SW, DSP, microprocessor-based comm. Systems, wireless nets,
LAN/WAN, ANY VOICE OR DATA NETWORK TOPOLOGY! X.25, ATM, IP ,TCP/IP,

Communications Engineers
The candidates for these positions will provide CAD based RF circuit design for the development of Digital, Analog and Spread Spectrum receiver/ transmitter modules. You will have 5-10 years of RF Circuit Design expertise in Digital modulation/demodulation schemes for P1/4 QPSK, BPSK and MSK systems at 900 MHz, 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Their design experience will be with Touchstone/J-OMEGA/TESLA microwave CAD systems. Protocol Software Engineer Telecommunications Protocol software engineers are needed nationwide. Familiarity with GSM, AMPS or other wireless communications protocol is required. Persons with C experience and/or real-time embedded experience needed. Microsoft Windows programming experience is desirable. BS CS, EE or related major with at least 4 years experience in required.

Communications System Engineer
The persons selected for these positions will be responsible for system simulation, design and analysis of a single chip solution for frequency-hopped satellite modem applications. A MSEE along with 3+ years experience is required. Your experience with digital wave form processing, algorithm design and simulation with respect to hardware/software limitations is required. Familiarity with PSK and GMSK modulation, forward error correction, interference mitigation and acquisition/tracking algorithms are also a plus. Wireless/Cellular Software Engineer The software product developer with two or more years experience in tele/data communications is right for these positions. Experience with cellular and/or wireless communications essential. C++ and OOD a plus.
